Here is the Warranty Card for older JEM and Universe Guitars. They have replaced the picture of the JEM with a now extinct blue USRG and another Ibanez guitar. The feeling you get when filling one of these out is incredible. Remember waking up as a child on Christmas morning to see what Santa has left... that's the feeling!
Have any of you ever wanted to fill out a Warranty Card for a Universe Multicolor guitar? If you said no, then you're clearly on the wrong site... point Netscape somewhere else. For you JEM/UV fans... now you can ;-) Here is the unused Warranty Card from my UV77MC guitar.
Here's the hang tags circa 1993 from JEM guitars. Not sure if they came only with the swirls, as this came with a GMC. Click each thumbnail to see a larger picture. Pretty cool. If anyone has stuff like this please email or FTP pics.
Wow. Here is a photo from NAMM 1990 where Ibanez first introduced the Universe guitars. The picture is submitted by Adam Fox (see Links page) who witnessed & played these guitars. More exciting is that these were Vai's personal guitars... as the production models were not available yet and Ibanez borrowed Steve's for the unveiling. Adam says he felt goose bumps when he picked up the guitar having noticed heavy neck wear!!!
Pictured above is an old Ibanez Bumper sticker. It is from '92 time frame as far as I can tell. The swirl is a giveaway that it is not more recent ;->
Pictured above is a CD single from PAW. Featuring three songs, in the original form. Cool CD booklet artwork.
Pictured above is a CD single for Little Alligator. Shipped in a plain black cardboard sleeve, the CD single contains 2 versions of the song... the "Album Version" and shortened "Radio Edit".
Here is the G3 Promo CD... not intended for resale ;-) It has the same 12 songs as the G3 album, but a cardboard CD-ROM type sleeve and a different picture on the disc shown above. Has anyone located bootlegs of the full G3 shows they taped???
